Job summary

Sanctuary is seeking an Asset Surveyor in Glasgow to join its Asset Delivery team. The role mixes office, home and site work, with a 35-hour week and a salary of £38,426 to £40,436 per year plus a company car or car buyout.

You will conduct surveys, manage asset improvements, and help deliver capital works while coordinating with internal and external partners. A DEA pathway may be available after probation.

Qualifications

• Qualified in a HND or HNC in Surveying; CSCS not accepted.
• Experience delivering property works with indirect reports and third-party suppliers.
• Experience in building surveying and maintenance environments.
• Knowledge of SHQS, EESSH and awareness of Scottish Government future legislation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to extract and interpret computerised information.
• Drone operations experience desirable.
• DEA qualification/experience desirable; training after probation.
• UK driving licence required for company vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking stock condition surveys and other property inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and contract performance.
• Identify asset improvements aligned with business plans and high-quality services.
• Develop and manage cyclical and capital work programmes per SHQS/EESSH requirements.
• Manage projects from conception through delivery to handover.
• Provide detailed reports with project specs and estimated costs.
• Coordinate and maintain relationships with stakeholders and provide progress updates.
• Opportunity to train as Domestic Energy Assessor after probation period.
