Job summary

The Disability Service is seeking qualified healthcare professionals in Stafford to conduct PIP assessments, both face-to-face and remotely. You will manage your own caseloads, with autonomy to shape each case using your expertise across a range of physical, sensory, mental and cognitive conditions.

Qualifications

• Qualified healthcare professional with registration (NMC/HCPC) and at least 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Strong communication and IT literacy to work with diverse service users and digital systems.
• Hybrid working and Monday–Friday schedule with no shift patterns and structured hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments for the Government’s disability allowance (PIP), face-to-face, virtual, telephone assessments and paper-based reports (PBR).
• Manage your own caseloads, shaping each case with professional expertise.
• Assess a full range of conditions including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.
