Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Brokerage Officer to join the Care Quality Team (Adults and Communities) in Barnet. You will oversee placement search requests, secure care packages within contractual terms, and support health and social care teams to procure safe, high-quality care for vulnerable adults.

This hybrid role requires experience in ASC brokerage and familiarity with the Mosaic case management system.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in health or social care for vulnerable adults.
• Experience in managing or purchasing care services and developing quality monitoring.
• Experience in contracting, accreditation, and monitoring models across sectors.
• Programme or project support with admin/finance/IT skills.
• ASC brokerage experience is essential.
• Experience with Mosaic case management system, brokerage workflows.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and complete placement search requests within agreed timescales.
• Secure care packages and placement costs within contractual frameworks, delivering value for money and quality.
• Support social care and health teams to procure care for vulnerable individuals (care homes, accommodation, and homecare).
• Implement procurement plans in line with Contract Procedure Rules and relevant legislation.
• Review contracts and SLAs, conduct monitoring visits to ensure standards and safeguards.
• Update Mosaic with new care packages and record purchasing activity.
• Collaborate with Care Delivery, Invoicing, NHS colleagues, and other London authorities to share market intelligence and safeguard vulnerable adults.
