Job summary

OMNIA Training is seeking an AI Solution Engineer to join its UK-based team. You will contribute to designing, delivering, and transforming collective training for the British Army by developing AI/ML solutions and integrating them into secure, DevSecOps-enabled environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare data, evaluate models, and translate complex AI concepts for stakeholders, while upholding ethical AI practices in defence contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python for AI/ML development.
• Experience with major ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Proven ability to build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines and deploy to production.
• Ability to document technical solutions for maintainability and compliance.
• Experience with APIs/microservices integration and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions for Army training objectives.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Monitor model performance; apply tuning/retraining strategies.
• Collaborate with data engineers and software teams to build scalable AI components.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and risk/ethics guidance.
