Oxfordshire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Adult Social Care Team in Banbury. The role focuses on strengths-based, person-centred support and promoting independence for adults.

A flexible hybrid model combines office-based work, remote working, and essential community visits. You'll manage varied caseloads, undertake assessments, safeguarding work and collaborate with health colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Social Work England Registration is required.
• A recognised Social Work qualification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification Social Work experience.
• Experience in Adult Social Care is preferred.
• Strong time management and organisational skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.

• Undertaking strengths-based assessments, reviews and support planning.
• Completing face-to-face visits within the community.
• Managing and prioritising a diverse caseload.
• Carrying out safeguarding enquiries and promoting safeguarding principles.
• Working in partnership with health professionals and other agencies.
• Supporting adults to maximise independence and wellbeing.
• Maintaining accurate, timely and defensible case records.
