Job summary

FGS Industrial Facilities Management is recruiting a Waste & Recycling Contract Co-Ordinator to oversee the safe, compliant operation of HWRC sites across our Kent portfolio. You will coordinate contractors, monitor performance, and ensure high safety and environmental standards while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires hands-on site management, strong problem solving, and the ability to travel between sites. A Full UK driving licence and IOSH Managing Safely are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily HWRC site operations for safe service delivery.
• Manage contractor attendance and performance per contract.
• Monitor throughput, recycling performance and service standards.
• Support resource planning for labour, plant, and equipment.
• Maintain high housekeeping and presentation standards.
• Review RAMS and assess safety and compliance.
• Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses.
• Mobilise new contracts and drive operational improvements.
• Ensure environmental permits and waste movements are correctly documented.
• Prepare operational reports and support client meetings.
• Travel between HWRC sites as required.
