Job summary

Hitachi Energy in the UK seeks a Site M&E Supervisor to coordinate and inspect Mechanical & Electrical installation activities for HVDC converter stations. You will report to the Civil Construction Manager and work with project stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality execution.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in M&E supervision, strong knowledge of construction practices, and a commitment to HSE standards. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience supervising M&E installation works on large industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project documentation.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site M&E installation activities safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate and inspect M&E work across HVDC converter station projects.
• Maintain ITPs/ITRs and construction documentation for site execution.
• Identify non-conformities and support resolution with stakeholders.
• Travel to project sites as required and liaise with project teams.
