Job summary

AtkinsRéalis2020 seeks an Engineering Manager specializing in HVDC project delivery to join our UK team. You will provide technical leadership across HVDC/HVAC projects, lead complex design delivery, and support strategic growth within a diverse, inclusive environment.

Hybrid working with travel to client sites is expected. The role focuses on safety, compliance, and delivering value to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience leading delivery of HVDC/HVAC projects in line with UK engineering standards.
Chartered Engineer status and membership of a relevant body (e.g., IET).
Experience discharging design and safety governance duties is desirable.
Strong regulatory, safety, environmental governance knowledge in UK power sector.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and design assurance for HVDC projects across converters, protection, control, cables and integration.
Lead multidisciplinary teams with high complexity, ensuring accountability and delivery.
Build trusted client relationships and deliver value through effective engagement.
Collaborate across project interfaces to align technical outcomes and delivery.
Drive process and technical improvements while upholding governance.
