Qualifications

• Two years of degree-level study in Electrical Engineering or related science.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an expert team to learn design and development skills related to control and protection systems.
• Assist with PSSE/PSCAD modelling and verification.
• Model HVDC systems in MATLAB, RSCAD, PSCAD and verify results.
• Assist in producing required technical documentation under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Follow department standard design practices, engineering reviews and guidelines.
• Propose different solutions outside of set parameters with guidance.
