Job summary

GE Grid Solutions, based in Stafford, is seeking a Lead Project Engineer for HVDC C&P. You will head a cross‑functional team delivering Control & Protection systems for HVDC projects, ensuring technical leadership and regulatory compliance across the lifecycle.

The role offers exposure to international projects and a fast-paced engineering environment. You will drive design standardization, manage budgets, and coordinate with Tendering, Commissioning, and Product Care teams, while travel

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• More than 9 years’ experience in Control & Protection systems.
• Strong ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Control & Protection System engineering and verification activities.
• Coordinate with tendering, commissioning, service and 3rd parties.
• Ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
