Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer for a commercial HVAC environment in the UK. You will perform electrical and mechanical repairs, service chillers and heat pumps, and maintain critical equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, with bonus qualifications such as PASMA/IPAF/Hydrocarbon/Brazing. The role offers strong progression and a performance-based bonus structure while working in the UK market.

Qualifications

• Essential Level 2 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification.
• Experience servicing and maintaining comfort cooling systems, chillers and process equipment in a commercial HVAC setting.
• Bonus qualifications: PASMA/IPAF/Hydrocarbon/Brazing certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical repairs on comfort cooling systems with confidence.
• Service and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, and related equipment including compressors, driers, EXVs/TEVs and control panels.

Our client, a leading global HVAC company is looking for a HVAC Engineer with a solid background in HVAC/ refrigeration within the commercial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical and Mechanical Repairs: Tackle repairs and services on comfort cooling systems with confidence and expertise
• Chiller/Heat Pump Equipment Service: Maintain and repair critical equipment including compressors, driers, EXVs, TEVs, and control panels

You Will Need:

• Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Essential
• Service / Maintenance comfort cooling systems, chillers, and process equipment in the commercial HVAC sector
• Bonus Qualifications: PASMA/IPAF/Hydrocarbon/Brazing certifications, experience with water/air-cooled chillers
