Responsibilities

• Complete PPM schedule ensuring accurate paperwork.
• Maintain HVAC assets including air handling units and gas-fired heating.
• Respond to service calls and repair HVAC systems within timeframes.

Job description

We are committed to working in partnership with ASDA to provide safe, compliant, and well-maintained stores by exceeding expectations every day.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (42.5 hours per week with a standby rota of 1 week in every 4)

Responsibilities

• Complete the PPM schedule and ensure all paperwork is accurately completed.
• Respond promptly to service call/alarm requests from the Helpdesk, assess requirements, and carry out repairs within specified timescales. Update call and job status accordingly.
• Perform maintenance on HVAC assets including air handling units, gas-fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pumps, split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise the Line Manager with recommendations for replacements.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies.

Candidate Requirements

• Recognized Commercial Gas qualifications, with at least 4 of the following: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1.
• F Gas (2079) qualification.
• Desirable: 17th or 18th Edition qualification.
• Professional, friendly, flexible, courteous, and helpful demeanor with a hands-on approach.
• Positive attitude and adaptability to a dynamic environment, committed to excellent customer service.
• Experience in HVAC/Gas in a multi-site environment.
• Full Driving License and willingness to travel daily.
