Job description

The Vacancy

We are committed to working in partnership with ASDA, with the mission to provide safe, compliant, and well-maintained stores by exceeding expectations every day.

Hours of work – Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (42.5 hours per week, with a standby rota of 1 week in every 4)

Role Responsibilities:

• Complete the PPM schedule, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and procedures are followed.
• Respond promptly to service calls and alarms from the Helpdesk, assess requirements, carry out repairs within specified response times, and update the job status accordingly.
• Perform maintenance on HVAC assets, including air handling units, gas-fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pumps, split air conditioning, boilers, pumps, inverters, water heaters, and chillers.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise the Line Manager with recommendations for replacements.
• Ensure all work complies with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Recognized Commercial Gas qualifications, with at least 4 of the following: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1.
• 17th or 18th Edition (Desirable)
• Professional, friendly, flexible, courteous, and helpful demeanor with a hands-on approach.
• Positive attitude with adaptability to a dynamic environment and a commitment to customer service.
• Experience in HVAC/Gas across multiple sites.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel daily.
