Job summary

Volution Ventilation UK in Crawley is seeking a Technical Author to join our HVAC documentation team. You will compile, write and produce manuals for new and existing products, translating complex technical information into clear content.

Based in Crawley, this role offers a collaborative environment, opportunity to work with engineering and product teams, and a focus on accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience producing manuals or technical content for products.
• Excellent written communication and ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Solid understanding of technical illustrations and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Compile, write and produce user, installation and servicing manuals for new and existing products.
• Translate complex product information into clear, accurate and user-friendly technical content.
• Tailor manual content to suit users, installers and service engineers.
• Liaise with Engineering, Product Management, Approvals, Technical Support and Service teams to establish documentation requirements.
• Coordinate translated manuals and manage external translation suppliers and purchase orders.
• Plan and deliver documentation activities in support of new product-development timelines.
