Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand HVAC service sales within the UK Facilities Management sector. You will cultivate strategic relationships with national and regional FM providers, grow service revenue, and secure new partnerships to support long-term objectives.

You will lead growth initiatives, manage complex sales cycles, and negotiate contracts while collaborating with Operations, Service Delivery, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership

Qualifications

• Experience selling HVAC maintenance contracts and energy efficiency solutions.
• Proven success growing existing accounts and achieving sales targets.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth plans for assigned FM accounts.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through service contract expansion and new offerings.
• Drive sale of PPM, reactive service solutions, lifecycle replacement projects, and energy efficiency services.
• Conduct regular customer business reviews to identify growth opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with operational, procurement, commercial, and executive stakeholders within FM organisations.
• Identify, target, and secure new Facilities Management customers aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead customer presentations, solution development, commercial negotiations, and contract award activities.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity management through CRM systems while achieving revenue and margin targets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Service Delivery, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
