Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager in Birmingham to lead projects from design through commissioning and handover. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client relationships to deliver compliant, high-quality installations.

The role requires a strong mechanical/HVAC background, knowledge of installation requirements, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC / mechanical background
• Previous HVAC project management experience
• Good understanding of HVAC installation requirements and systems
• Confident managing subcontractors and client relationships
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering/HVAC or relevant vocational qualification and significant experience

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC projects from design through to completion
• Plan programmes, resources and project deliverables
• Manage subcontractors and installation teams
• Oversee quality, health & safety and technical compliance
• Manage project budgets, costs and variations
• Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers and senior management
• Identify and manage project risks and resolve technical issues
• Manage commissioning, handover and project documentation
