Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment seeks an experienced HVAC Project Manager to own projects from design through commissioning and handover. Based in Birmingham, you will oversee budgets, subcontractors and client relationships to deliver on time and to spec.

You will have a strong mechanical/HVAC background, proven project management experience, and a solid understanding of HVAC installation requirements. The role emphasizes safety, documentation and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC / mechanical engineering background.
• Previous HVAC project management experience.
• Good understanding of HVAC installation requirements and systems.
• Confident managing subcontractors and client relationships.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Competent with Microsoft Office
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering/HVAC or relevant vocational qualification and significant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC projects from design through to completion.
• Plan programmes, resources and project deliverables.
• Manage subcontractors and installation teams.
• Oversee quality, health & safety and technical compliance.
• Manage project budgets, costs and variations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers and senior management.
• Identify and manage project risks and resolve technical issues.
• Manage commissioning, handover and project documentation.
