Job summary

Cooltherm is seeking an experienced Projects Manager (HVAC) for Nuneaton to lead HVAC installations from design to commissioning and handover. You will manage planning, schedules, budgets, and a mix of subcontractors and in-house teams to deliver high-quality, compliant results.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and IT skills, with the ability to liaise with senior management on scheduling and resource planning. On-site leadership and safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
• Alternative: combination of vocational HVAC training and extensive project management experience, certified technician.
• Understanding of installation requirements of all HVAC systems.
• Strong communication and IT skills, proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to liaise with senior management on scheduling and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and execution from design through commissioning and handover.
• Team and subcontractor management; supervise installation teams and select subcontractors.
• Quality assurance and compliance with HVAC standards and safety.
• Budget and cost management with resource allocation and cost control.
• Stakeholder communication and regular progress updates to clients and teams.
• Problem solving and risk management for delays and site challenges.
• Documentation and reporting of contracts, changes, schedules and inspections.
