Job summary

Simpson Recruitment Services is seeking an Estimator / Project Manager for commercial air-conditioning and ventilation projects in the West Midlands. You will manage opportunities from enquiry through to handover, ensuring accurate estimating, robust cost control and clear customer communication.

The role requires experience with split, twin and multi-split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs and HRUs, plus the ability to interpret drawings and specifications. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating and/or project managing commercial HVAC projects.
• Knowledge of split, twin, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems, AHUs and HRUs.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Experience carrying out site surveys and developing compliant buildable scopes.
• Strong planning, organisation and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations for commercial HVAC projects from drawings, surveys and enquiries.
• Price HVAC systems including split, twin, multi-split, VRV/VRF, AHU and HRU equipment.
• Produce clear scopes, assumptions, exclusions and equipment schedules.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Follow up quotations, support negotiations and maintain sales-pipeline records.
• Manage awarded projects from order through design, procurement, installation and handover.
