Job summary

COMPLETE TALENT SERVICES LIMITED is seeking a skilled Mechanical / HVAC Estimator to join its growing team, delivering ventilation and ducting projects across commercial retail environments. You will produce costings and tender submissions, reviewing drawings and specs to ensure competitive, profitable pricing.

You'll work closely with engineers, project teams and subcontractors, manage multiple tenders, and support handovers to delivery and operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC, ventilation, or building services engineering.
• Strong CAD capability with AutoCAD or similar.
• Solid understanding of HVAC principles, airflow, duct sizing, and system performance.
• Experience in commercial retail environments is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable experience in estimating.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Price HVAC/ventilation installations and related services.
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor quotations for AC and ventilation.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, and project teams.

This role blends technical experience with commercial knowledge and ideal for someone looking to join a growing businessYou'll be responsible for producing detailed costings/ estimates for HVAC / Ventilation projects ensuring costings are profitable yet competitive. The successful candidates will work closely with experienced engineers, project teams, and trusted subcontractors on a wide range of mechanical packages. Duties will include:
