Job summary

Cooltherm in Reading/Bristol seeks an experienced Projects Manager (HVAC) to lead HVAC installations from design through commissioning. You will own projects, coordinate design and engineering teams, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high safety standards.

The role requires strong communication, subcontractor management, and a solid background in mechanical engineering or HVAC. Travel between Reading and Bristol is expected, with collaboration across sites and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field.
• Or a combination of vocational HVAC training with strong project management experience.
• Understanding of installation requirements for HVAC systems.
• Good IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute HVAC projects from design to commissioning.
• Coordinate subcontractors and in-house teams.
• Ensure compliance with DIN/EU standards and safety.
• Manage budgets and control costs.
• Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
