Job summary

Modine is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 9-month fixed-term contract in Leeds. The role involves developing new standard HVAC products and maintaining the existing portfolio within a cross-disciplinary Product Development team.

You will contribute to design briefs, performance predictions, cost targets and manufacturing-friendly designs. Collaboration with suppliers and internal teams is essential to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in engineering or relevant science field.
• Experience with thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
• Ability to work under own initiative and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product designs from concept to launch within APQP guidelines.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Communicate with suppliers and drive select components to meet cost targets.
