Job summary

Curve Recruitment supports an M&E and HVAC Building Services Contractor near Newmarket in their search for an experienced HVAC Manager to lead a growing team. You will oversee HVAC installation, maintenance and small works across commercial and residential sites, manage engineers, coordinate resources and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Strong technical HVAC knowledge, leadership and client-facing skills are essential, with a focus on delivering multiple projects

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems (air conditioning, VRV/VRF, ventilation, heating)
• Proven experience managing HVAC installation, maintenance or service projects
• Leading and managing engineers or an HVAC team
• Experience managing projects from conception to completion, including quoting, procurement, project management and delivery
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage project budgets and costs
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong IT skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate HVAC installation, small works and maintenance projects across commercial and residential sites
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of HVAC engineers to ensure timely and on-budget delivery
• Prepare quotations, plan schedules, allocate resources and oversee project budgets and timelines
• Manage projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to procurement, installation, completion and handover
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Report on project progress and provide feedback to Directors
• Generate and develop new business leads and expand on existing clients building strong relationships
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, F-Gas legislation and company standards
• Liaise and work closely with MEPH projects division
