Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled HVAC engineer to join the static maintenance team in London. The role covers pre-planned maintenance and reactive work on site under the M&E Manager with CAFM workflow management.

You will lead HVAC activities, oversee cooling and heating systems, and coordinate contractors while ensuring compliance with legislation and SFG 20 guidelines. NVQ3 and F-Gas 1 are required; weekend on-call may be needed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation.
• F Gas Category 1 qualification; commercial gas work experience advantageous but not essential.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cooling and heating systems on site in line with legislation and SFG 20 guidelines.
• Escort contractors on site to ensure safe, compliant works.
• Carry out reactive investigations and first-fix repairs where possible on mechanical equipment.
• Configure HVAC time scheduling and temperature via BMS to match occupancy.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards and paperwork is submitted.
• Support maintenance team to keep site operations running smoothly.
