Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Engineer in Coventry to join the estates team. The role involves providing full operation, maintenance, engineering and building services to meet contractual obligations.

Responsibilities include reactive and planned HVAC maintenance, fault finding, documentation, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The position requires NVQ Level 2 in plumbing or mechanical engineering and strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance to HVAC systems across the estate.
• Perform diagnostic checks, fault finding and repairs using multiskilled knowledge and experience.
• Ensure assets are maintained in accordance with contractual requirements, HTMs, HBMs and manufacturer's instructions.
• Accurately complete all work-related documentation and update CAFM systems in a timely manner.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
