ISS Facilities Services is seeking an Apprenticeship Qualified HVAC Engineer to join a team of engineers and support maintenance, repair, fault-finding and installation across client properties. The role covers air conditioning, refrigeration, heating and ventilation, with experience in manufacturing environments preferred.

Key qualifications include F-Gas Category 1 and City & Guilds AC&R Level 2 or 3. You will work under supervision and contribute to safe, efficient operation of HVAC systems.

Competenze

• F-Gas Category 1 certification.

• Solid HVAC engineering experience, ideally gained within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Good understanding of HVAC and refrigeration principles, systems and controls.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools used in maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Understanding of building codes, regulations and industry standards relating to HVAC, refrigeration and boilers.

We are seeking an Apprenticeship Qualified HVAC Engineer to join a team of four engineers, reporting directly to the Supervisor and supporting a range of HVAC and building services equipment across the estate.

The successful candidate will provide maintenance, repair, fault-finding and installation services across client properties, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled HVAC professional with strong technical knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating and ventilation systems.

Experience within a production or manufacturing environment is highly desirable, along with relevant HVAC qualifications and F-Gas Category 1 certification.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on a wide range of HVAC systems and associated plant.

Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment, including compressors, condensers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and air handling systems.

Service and maintain refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems to ensure optimum performance.

Repair or replace defective components, including thermostats, relays, controls, switches, filters, belts and compressors.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

F-Gas Category 1 certification.

City & Guilds Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across HVAC and refrigeration systems.
