Refrigeration Engineer

We are seeking an HVAC or Air Conditioning Engineer who is interested in training into a refrigeration engineer role.

Salary: £31,000 plus door-to-door payments paid at x1.5.

One of the largest and fastest-growing mobile transport refrigeration manufacturers is looking for a Transport Refrigeration Engineer to join their team as they continue to expand in this sector.

As a Transport Refrigeration Engineer, your responsibilities will include routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on refrigerated vehicles.

You may have experience in Refrigeration, HVAC, or Air Conditioning.

Main duties include:

• Diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of refrigeration units, including electrical, lining, and mechanical components
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and communicating effectively with customers onsite
• Providing preventative maintenance, repairs, and technical services
• Testing and adjusting system components, including temperature and pressure settings, to ensure optimal performance
• Performing preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend system life, including inspections and calibration
• Installing new refrigeration systems in vehicles, ensuring proper integration with existing components
• Troubleshooting electrical and electronic components related to refrigeration systems, including parking sensors, monitoring, and control systems
