adi Facilities Engineering Ltd seeks a site-based HVAC Engineer to maintain and improve site assets in Northamptonshire. You will lead planned and reactive maintenance, oversee contractors, and ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency across plant systems.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical engineering skills, HVAC/refrigeration experience, F-GAS certification, and CMMS familiarity. On-call duties and minor projects are part of the role within a facilities management context.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical engineering competence with experience maintaining chiller plants.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• F-GAS Certification is essential for this role.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
• Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH/CSCS).
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance systems.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and lead day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance work.
• Manage and oversee contractors delivering specialist services.
• Support plant and equipment improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance.
• Maintain FGAS logbooks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance practices and asset reliability.
• Participate in on-call duties and escalation processes.
• Support minor project works and capital improvement initiatives.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards are maintained.

Location – Site-based in Northamptonshire

About the Role

As a site-based HVAC Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of non-core engineering and facilities services, ensuring the upkeep, maintenance, and statutory compliance of site assets. Reporting to the Site FM Manager, you will work closely with site teams and contractors to provide a professional, efficient, and safe service.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

• Plan, coordinate, and lead day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance work.
• Manage and oversee contractors delivering specialist services.
• Support plant and equipment improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance.
• Maintain FGAS logbooks and ensure compliance with legislative and site regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance practices, asset reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in on-call duties and escalation processes as required.
• Support minor project works and capital improvement initiatives.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards are maintained at all times.
