The Vacancy

Job Purpose:

This is a key position, responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across several site locations. You will be the first point of contact for all maintenance tasks within your allocated sites.

The role involves carrying out technical repairs and PPMs, ensuring all technical and compliance paperwork is completed accurately and promptly. All work must be performed to high standards efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with the Company Health and Safety policy.

Key Accountabilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is accurately completed.
• Respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk, assess the requirements, and carry out necessary repairs.
• Prioritize maintenance and repair work to meet response and completion times.
• Order spares following laid-down procedures.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise the Line manager with recommendations for replacements.
• Ensure all compliance documentation is up to date.
• Carry out surveys and prepare reports as required by management.
• Perform minor alterations and installations within your technical competence according to current specifications.
• Attend training to stay updated with technical developments.
