Job description

HVAC Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer in the Kent area for a leading HVAC company with over 20 years of experience and 6 regional offices. The company provides comprehensive solutions including installation, service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of various HVAC equipment.

Their client portfolio includes long-standing relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison, and more.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary up to £40,000 DOE
• Company Van with optional personal use
• Profit share scheme after 12 months' service - up to £3,600 tax-free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40-hour workweek, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On-call allowance (£1,200 guaranteed, 1 in 4/5 on-call rotation, travel paid door-to-door)

• 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years

Requirements

• Proven experience in servicing, fault finding, and repairing air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs, and Cold Rooms
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent (apprenticeship not essential)
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas) certification
• Full driving license
• Residency in the Kent area
