HVAC Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an HVAC Engineer in the Midlands area for our client, a leading HVAC company with 6 regional offices and over 20 years of experience. They provide comprehensive solutions including installation, service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of various HVAC equipment.

Their client portfolio includes long-standing clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison, and more.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary up to £42,000 DOE
• Company Van with optional personal use
• Profit share scheme after 12 months' service, up to £3,600 tax-free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40-hour workweek, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On-call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed; travel paid door-to-door when called out)
• Pension scheme
• 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years

Job Requirements

• Apprenticeship in the air conditioning industry (not essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full driving license
• Experience in service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair
• Residency in the Midlands
