Air Conditioning Engineer (HVAC)

Type: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (Van, 25 days plus Bank Holidays, overtime, and fantastic benefits)

Location: Exeter and surrounding area

A market leader in the Facilities Maintenance sector is seeking an Air Conditioning and Multi-Skilled Engineer to work in Exeter and the surrounding areas. The role involves working with high street retailers and banking clients as a mobile position. The company offers excellent benefits, remuneration, and high staff retention.

Job Purpose:

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will operate and maintain building AC/HVAC systems, perform Planned Preventative Maintenance & Reactive Maintenance, conduct diagnostic checks and fault finding, and undertake general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing and toilet blockages to assist the maintenance team. You will participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota and ensure all work-related documentation is completed accurately and promptly.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in maintenance, testing, and fault finding on various HVAC equipment
• Refrigeration or Air Conditioning specific qualifications (not F-Gas), such as:
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Small Refrigeration
• City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) Level 2 or 3
• City & Guilds Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, and Heat Pump Systems (6090) Level 3
• F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079)
• At least 5 years of experience in an air conditioning service role (not installation)
• Experience with packaged or air handling equipment, split systems, and commercial equipment (not domestic)
• C&G 236 Part 1 & 2
• BS7671 Electrical Regulations
• C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing (desired)

What You Will Receive:

The salary ranges from £30,000 to up to £50,500, depending on qualifications and experience.
