Job description

My client is an established FM company looking for a qualified and experienced HVAC engineer to join a team on multiple sites in Daventry. This is a great role for someone seeking to join a company offering lots of progression and training. This is a mobile role working Monday to Friday (8 AM to 5 PM).

Main Duties will include:

1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports.
2. Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
3. Be on a call out rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.
4. Oversee visiting sub-contractors regarding standard of work and Health and Safety.
5. Adopt a flexible attitude in relation to assisting on other properties within the portfolio.
6. Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
7. Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
8. Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
9. Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
10. Perform daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks including UPS systems, plumbing and drainage, boiler room checks, cooling towers, fan coil units / AHUs / fans, and heating pumps.

The ideal candidate will have:

• F-gas qualification
• NVQ Level 3 in HVAC/Mechanical/AC
• NVQ Level 3 in refrigeration or A/C + F-gas
• NVQ Level 3 in heating, ventilation + F-gas
