Job description

My client is an established FM company seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC engineer to join a team working across multiple sites in Daventry. This role offers significant progression and training opportunities. It is a mobile position working Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Main duties will include:

• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and completing relevant paperwork and reports.
• Performing reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, including documentation.
• Participating in a call-out rota to provide out-of-hours support to clients.
• Overseeing visiting subcontractors regarding work standards and health and safety compliance.
• Assisting with other properties within the portfolio as needed.
• Performing all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Accurately completing all work-related documentation on time.
• Carrying out work safely and diligently.
• Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conducting daily PPM and reactive maintenance tasks, including UPS systems, plumbing, drainage, boiler room checks, cooling towers, fan coil units, AHUs, fans, and heating pumps.

The ideal candidate will have:

• F-Gas qualification
• NVQ Level 3 in HVAC/Mechanical/AC
• NVQ Level 3 in refrigeration or air conditioning, with F-Gas certification
• NVQ Level 3 in heating, ventilation, plus F-Gas certification
