Job summary

Avolon M&E invites an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on HVAC and ductwork projects across London and the South East. You will own cost plans, budgets and cash flow while overseeing valuations, variations and subcontractor performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC/mechanical services and ductwork procurement and cost control.
• Strong understanding of commercial management for mechanical projects.
• Experience with valuations, change control, and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project cost plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Manage project costs, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Conduct valuations and applications for payment.
• Manage variations and change control on projects.
• Procure and manage subcontractors and review subcontract packages.
• Carry out site visits to validate quantities and progress.
• Provide contract administration and commercial reporting.
• Identify and manage commercial risks.
• Support project teams with cost control and value engineering.
• Manage projects through to final account and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
