At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as an HVAC Construction Engineer at the Hinkley Point C nuclear project in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The Role

You will lead, manage, and motivate the team, support continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with nuclear safety and site license requirements. Your responsibilities include delivering HVAC Workpacks, demonstrating HSE leadership, and supporting construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitate the use of the Procon system for construction activities and reporting.
2. Ensure adherence to Work Authorization and Permit systems.
3. Coordinate safe access routes to workfaces.
4. Conduct surveys to support construction projects.
5. Manage documentation to meet project timelines and standards.

Essential Experience

• Experience on major construction projects in a regulated sector, with knowledge of Safe Systems of Work.
• Experience at Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including within Joint Ventures.

Qualifications

• Degree or vocational training in HVAC systems installation.

Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance.
