At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as an HVAC Construction Engineer at the Hinkley Point C nuclear project in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The Role

As an HVAC Construction Engineer, you'll lead, manage, and motivate the team, support continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards. You'll deliver HVAC Workpacks, demonstrate strong HSE leadership, and support construction activities.

• Support construction works using the Procon system and report progress.
• Manage Work Authorisation and Permit systems.
• Coordinate safe access to workfaces.
• Conduct surveying to support construction.
• Prioritize and own documentation as per project plans.
• Ensure documentation compliance with latest information.

This is a full-time role based on a 37-hour workweek at Hinkley Point C.

Essential Experience

Experience in major construction projects, working in regulated sectors, and knowledge of Safe Systems of Work. Proven experience at Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including within Joint Ventures.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent vocational training in HVAC systems installation.

Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance. Details at GOV.UK.
