Job summary

TriConnex is seeking an experienced HV Project Engineer to lead major HV/LV electrical projects from planning through energisation and handover. The role involves taking ownership of project delivery, reviewing drawings and specifications, and working with customers, contractors, and DNOs/IDNOs across sites nationwide.

You will bring HV/LV expertise, a practical, safety‑minded mindset, and strong communication skills to support design and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in high voltage, low voltage, power distribution, utilities, ICP, IDNO or electrical infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of electrical drawings, technical specifications, project delivery processes and safety requirements.
• A relevant electrical qualification such as HNC/HND, degree, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong communication skills to support and influence colleagues, customers and contractors.
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of HV/LV electrical projects and translate requirements into delivery.
• Provide engineering support to design and operations teams with practical solutions.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure safety, compliance and high standards.
• Build relationships with customers, contractors, DNOs/IDNOs and internal teams to keep projects moving.
• Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement across projects.
