Amentum seeks an HV Designer/Power Systems Engineer to design large industrial facilities such as power stations and major manufacturing sites in the UK. The role offers hybrid working with 1–2 days in Glasgow or Reading offices, with occasional site visits.

You will lead electrical engineering deliverables, conduct surveys, perform HV/LV calculations, and develop protection systems and schematics, working with clients and project teams across diverse projects.

Formación

Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Knowledge up to 11kV and interfacing with 33kV.
Experience in HV generation/distribution systems.
Experience in contracting environment and site experience.
Willing to travel and relocate as required.
Experience in HV/LV network design and analysis using industry tools.

Responsabilidades

Lead or collaborate with a team of Electrical engineers/designers on project deliverables.
Conduct site surveys/condition assessments to determine requirements.
Perform HV/LV design calculations for industrial and commercial applications.
Design control and protection systems, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Prepare plans, drawings, specs, and contract documents.
Coordinate with clients and project delivery teams.
Travel and relocation as needed for project work.
