Job summary

Freedom is seeking an HV/LV Electrical Manager to lead high and low voltage operations across diverse projects in Wakefield. You will drive delivery, safety, and continuous improvement while supporting operational teams.

This role blends technical leadership with commercial acumen, including estimation and bid preparation, plus strong stakeholder management and HSQE compliance to shape our electrical delivery capability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing HV and LV electrical operations.
• Strong commercial awareness including estimation and bids.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team management.
• Solid grasp of Health, Safety and electrical standards.
• Customer-focused with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate HV/LV electrical operations across projects.
• Manage project delivery on time, within budget and safely.
• Support commercial activities including estimation and tender prep.
• Ensure HSQE standards and procedures are followed.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and development to teams.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Oversee planning and resource allocation (labour, plant, materials).
• Implement best practice processes and use modern technology to improve performance.
• Drive a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.
