Job summary

Freedom, part of the NG Bailey Group, is seeking an HV/LV Electrical Manager to lead high and low voltage operations across multiple projects in the Wakefield area. You will drive safe delivery, manage budgets, and mentor operational teams while integrating new digital tools to boost efficiency.

You will shape best practice processes, support commercial activities such as estimation and bid preparation, ensure HSQE compliance, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading HV/LV electrical operations in utilities, construction, or industrial settings.
• Strong commercial awareness including estimation and bid preparation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.
• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety and electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV/LV electrical operations including installation, maintenance and commissioning.
• Manage project delivery with safety, on-time, and within-budget execution.
• Support commercial activities such as estimation and bid submissions.
• Ensure HSQE compliance and drive a strong safety culture.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and development to operational teams.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Oversee planning and allocation of labour, plant and materials.
• Develop and implement best practice processes and procedures.
