Freedom is seeking an HV/LV Electrical Manager in Wakefield to lead HV/LV operations, drive project delivery, and support commercial activities. You will mentor teams, manage budgets, and uphold HSQE standards across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing HV/LV electrical operations in utilities, construction or industrial settings.
• Strong commercial awareness, including estimation and bid preparation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements and electrical standards.
• Customer-focused approach with stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate HV/LV electrical operations, including installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
• Manage project delivery to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support commercial activities, including estimation, tender preparation, and bid submissions.
• Ensure HSQE standards and procedures are followed.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to operational teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Oversee planning and resource allocation, including labour, plant, and materials.
• Develop and implement best practice processes and operational procedures.
• Utilize modern technology and systems to improve efficiency and performance.
• Drive a strong safety culture and meet regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing HV and LV electrical operations within utilities, construction, or industrial environments.

• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements and electrical standards.

Desirable Qualifications:

• AP or SAP authorization for HV/LV systems.
• Experience working with modern digital tools and operational systems.
• Experience delivering projects within regulated environments or for major utility clients.
