Freedom is seeking an HV/LV Electrical Manager to lead high and low voltage operations across diverse projects in the Wakefield area. You will drive safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery while supporting commercial activities and client relationships.

The role requires strong leadership, HSQE compliance, and a proactive approach to process improvements, with a focus on mentoring operational teams and leveraging modern tech.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing HV/LV electrical operations in utilities, construction, or industrial settings.
• Strong commercial awareness including estimation and bid preparation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of HSQE requirements and electrical standards.
• Customer-focused with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate HV/LV electrical operations including installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
• Manage project delivery to meet safety, time, and budget targets.
• Support commercial activities such as estimation, tender preparation, and bids.
• Ensure HSQE compliance across all activities and teams.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to operational staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Oversee planning and resource allocation including labour, plant and materials.
• Develop and implement best practice processes and procedures.
• Utilize modern technology and systems to improve efficiency and performance.
• Drive a strong safety culture and regulatory adherence.
