Job summary

TSG PowerUK is seeking an Electrical Networks Assurance Engineer to assess HV/LV installations for compliance and safety. You will conduct site audits, evaluate designs, and document findings while driving improvements across client sites in the UK.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential. The role offers a remote-friendly pattern with on-site visits to Birmingham and other locations, plus a company vehicle, pension, and life assurance as part of the compensation

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting electrical distribution designs, single-line diagrams and technical drawings.
• Sound knowledge of current electrical regulations, industry standards, and safe systems of work.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, testing or technical assessments in electrical environments.
• Strong technical report-writing skills with clear findings and recommendations.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Background in HV installation, commissioning, maintenance or operational network activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical audits and assessments of HV/LV electrical installations across client sites.
• Evaluate assets for compliance with regulations, standards, specifications and best practice.
• Review and validate distribution designs, drawings, schematics and related documentation.
• Identify non-compliances, defects and safety concerns with action-oriented recommendations.
• Produce audit reports and technical findings to a high professional standard.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams on HV networks and installation practices.
• Engage with clients and contractors to communicate findings and drive improvement.
• Monitor adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
