Job summary

BRUSH Group is seeking a skilled HV Estimator to price work from enquiry through submission for 11 kV to 132 kV projects. Based at our Hook Office with hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 at home), you will read drawings, price from first principles, and manage supply chain quotes.

The role supports DNO/IDNO and industrial/renewable scopes. Ideal candidates have HV pricing experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement and Operations to

Qualifications

• Reading drawings, SLDs and specifications to inform a full cost model.
• Able to price from first principles with clear assumptions.
• Experience managing live tenders across bid stages.
• Knowledge of HV pricing in ICP/DNO/IDNO contexts.
• Proficient in Excel and cost estimation tools.

Responsibilities

• Take a job from enquiry to submission with a priced plan.
• Read drawings/SLDs and define inclusions and exclusions.
• Price substations, cables, transformers, switchgear, and civils.
• Coordinate with supply chain, design and operations.
• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities; document them.
• Prepare priced schedules, project summaries and packs for approvals.
• Support bid responses and ensure on-time tender submission.
