Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer in Luton to join a renowned manufacturer with a long heritage. You will perform acceptance testing on large-scale induction motors up to 13.8kV and 3.2MW, and report data in line with engineering standards.

The role offers overtime, early finish on Fridays, 33 days holiday, and strong training and progression opportunities, with emphasis on health and safety and collaboration with production and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Qualification to HNC/HND level in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with high-voltage equipment and power systems
• Experience testing in manufacturing/industrial environments
• Knowledge of IEC testing standards and dielectric testing advantageous

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing on large-scale induction motors up to 13.8kV and 3.2MW
• Monitor, record and report test data according to standards
• Produce and maintain accurate test reports and documentation
• Assist development of test data acquisition and control systems
• Ensure testing activities comply with safety and quality
• Coordinate with production and engineering for test schedules
• Support continuous improvement in the test facility
