Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a High Voltage Engineer for a leading heavy manufacturing business on a days-only basis. The role focuses on maintaining HV/LV infrastructure across site and improving reliability.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults on PLC/CNC/SCADA, and help develop efficient PM strategies. The role offers 37.5 hours, a £50,000 salary, and a strong pension and benefits package.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship (Level 3 considered).
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with HV and LV systems and switching activities.
• Knowledge of PLC, CNC and SCADA control systems.
• Commitment to reliability, continuous improvement and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve HV & LV electrical infrastructure across site.
• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose faults on PLC/CNC/SCADA control systems.
• Develop and improve PPM strategies to maximise reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement and energy efficiency projects.
• Support statutory inspections, electrical upgrades and maintenance planning.
• Work closely with OEMs and the wider engineering team.
