Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting for an Electrical Authorised Person / HV Engineer based in Sheffield with UK-wide travel. The role offers a strong salary, a company bonus, training, progression and a vehicle with overtime.

You will work on HV/LV switching, maintenance and commissioning across diverse industrial and utilities environments. You will join a growing equipment engineering team, mentor by Senior APs, and have clear development toward Senior Authorised Person status while

Qualifications

Electrical/ HV Authorised Person with HV experience.
Experience in HV/LV switching, maintenance and commissioning.
NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition qualification or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

Carry out HV/LV switching operations, isolations and maintenance within your authorisation level.
Assist with switching schedules, permits to work and safe systems of work.
Test, maintenance, installation and commissioning of HV/LV switchgear, transformers and distribution equipment.
Collaborate with Senior Authorised Persons and engineers on various projects.
Travel to client sites across the UK for planned maintenance, outages and fault finding.
Pursue further training with opportunities to progress to Senior Authorised Person.
