Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced High Voltage Operative (11kV AP) to deliver contestable connection projects across the UK. The role focuses on installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HV/LV assets up to 11kV at various sites.

Candidates should have 11kV AP status, current AP certs (IDNO/DNO preferred), and an engineering background (HNC helpful). Travel nationwide with a strong safety mindset is expected, with competitive salary and on-call

Qualifications

• 11kV Authorised Person status essential.
• Current AP certification (IDNO/DNO preferred).
• HNC in Electrical Engineering (desirable).
• EUSR SHEA Power.
• Street Works & Cable Identification.
• IOSH / NEBOSH / SMSTS advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver construction, commissioning, and maintenance works on 11kV contestable connections.
• Install and terminate HV/LV cables and associated plant.
• Undertake testing and commissioning of cables and electrical equipment.
• Support remedial and project works across multiple UK sites.
