Job summary

Jago Consultants seeks a Qualified Diagnostic Technician for our main car dealership in Letchworth Garden City. The role involves conducting visual health checks, detailed diagnostics and HV servicing, and ensuring work meets manufacturer standards.

You will report on diagnostics, support warranty processes, and liaise with customers while staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies. Monday–Friday 8am–5.30pm, Saturdays on alternating schedule may apply.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with HV qualification.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual health checks (VHCs) and carry out diagnostics, inspections, repairs and services, including HV vehicles.
• Ensure servicing, inspections and repairs align with internal and manufacturer requirements.
• Complete diagnostic reports and understand warranty process.
• Record work done and communicate faults or further works required.
• Complete road tests and sign off warranty repairs.
• Interpret job cards/repair orders and comply with manufacturer specifications.
